It rained for about 3 hours solidly in Coleridge yesterday - I know because I spent most of that time out delivering newsletters. But it did highlight a problem that the Council(s) have known about for months when a local resident first started complaining, and I followed up this complaint a couple of weeks ago but nothing seems to have happened.
Some of the drains, like this one on Cherry Hinton Road just don't seem to be working properly. There are similar problems on the pavement on Radegund Road. Looks like another issue to chase up if I am elected on May 1st, as ordinary requests from local residents don't seem to be getting anywhere.
