I've been out taking some photos for my next campaign newsletter that should be hot off the press very soon. Walking around the station site, I was amazed at the shear scale of the site and what is being proposed - which includes amongst other things 1,250 units of student accommodation. More details through the rose tinted spectacles of Ashwells, the developer involved are here. The application is currently being considered, and will require careful scrutiny of the detail. My worry as ever is that they trying to pack too much into the space, and the effects will be chaos on the local transport system. Good to see the Guided Bus works progressing apace though:
